Today was our final day in the field for Land Nav.
Today was our final day in the field for Land Nav.
This is a long post about Land Nav.
As I mentioned last night, it was a short night. Wake up this morning was at 0300.
For the last four weeks we have been on the classroom; day after day of struggling to stay awake while also trying to retain even a little bit of what was being thrown at us. But now we are out for the next three weeks, and we head to the field. But first we began the day with a ceremony.
Hey,
First of all, I removed comment moderation for the time being. It was set up that if you had not made a comment before then I would have to approve it first. The main goal of this is to prevent spam, but also to prevent inappropriate messages. For the time being, I have removed this. My purpose in doing this is that I am going to be out of contact for roughly the next 2 weeks, and I don’t want valid comments held in moderation for that long. Hopefully I don’t have too many problems with spam; if I do I’ll clean it up after I get back. I’ve had only 3 spam attempts in 2 months and no inappropriate comments, so this should work out.
Secondly, as mentioned, I am going to be out of contact for a couple weeks. I have scheduled posts from the past week to post every other day starting Monday, so there will be fresh content while I am gone, but I won’t actually be around poisting them. They will post automatically.
Anyway, that is all for now. I’m using the weekend for preparing for a couple weeks in the field.
This was a weekend for recovery, but also a weekend for getting ready for the field.
The week from hell is over(!), on a more or less good note.
Thursday: Another crazy day in the crazy week.
It was another busy day in a busy week.
Busy late night tonight. This whole week appears to be one of our busiest yet, with many course requirements fulfilled by the end of it. It is only Tuesday and already I’m looking forward to the weekend to get caught up. So how was my day?
Well I have about 4 hours of work to do and less than two hours to do it. So I will be brief.
